The Cyber Race will be triumphant...
Way back in the 60's, before the Borg were even thought of, the BBC's own sci-fi serial "Dr Who" introduced the world to the idea of cybernetic organisms (or cyborgs, if you prefer) in the guise of the Cybermen. For me, they've always been the best of the Doctor's arch-nemeses : their cold, calculating, unfeeling evil has always been, to me, far more sinister than the overzealous megalomania of the Daleks, or even the insane flawed-genius of the Master.
